MARICHAL Periplo Tannat 2024

Periplo Tannat 2024 is a tribute to Ezequiel Marichal, a second-generation winemaker in the Marichal family. The wine pays homage to his adventurous spirit, his passion for discovery led him to many adventures. One such journey took him by motorbike all the way to Rio de Janeiro, crossing inhospitable regions and cobbled roads. The constant vibrations would cause muscle tears in his arms, but he carried on regardless, determined to reach his destination.

Grapes 100% Tannat

Tasting Notes Fresh and approachable Tannat with black plum, blueberry, and floral hints. Juicy and well-balanced on the palate with gentle tannins and a vibrant finish.

Vinification Harvested manually in 18 kg boxes, cold soaked for 48 hours, fermented in underground concrete tanks for 12 days, and aged unoaked.
