MASINTÍN País 2022

Masintin's País is a premium wine from a one-hectare plot in Truquilemu, Maule Valley. Made by winemaker Diego Urra Gosselin, it shows savoury tannins, pomegranate, goji berry and red currant flavours with fine-grained tannins. The ungrafted, unirrigated vines planted in 1950 on an east-facing granite hillside contribute to its unique character. Only 3,720 bottles were produced.

A captivating blend of savoury tannins, pomegranate, goji berry and red currant flavours with sculpted, fine-grained tannins.

Vinification

Grapes were hand harvested and destemmed, and underwent gentle extraction in the fermentation tanks, followed by 12 months of ageing in 90% concrete tank and the remaining 10% in used French oak barrels.
