MUNDO REVÉS Gran Vin 2019

The Mundo Revés range represents the first wines crafted by Quentin and Thibault, marking the beginning of their winemaking journey in Argentina. The inaugural 2009 Malbec was produced from grapes sourced in La Consulta; over time, vineyard selection moved progressively to higher elevations.

Today, the range includes a Malbec and, since 2017, a Cabernet Franc, both sourced from Paraje Altamira at 1,100 meters above sea level. All wines are aged at least partially in French oak to enhance elegance, structure, and aromatic complexity while expressing the distinctive character of this high-altitude terroir.

50% Malbec, 50% Cabernet Franc

Tasting notes

Graphite, blackcurrant leaf and wet stone aromas, subtle new oak, blueberry and black cherry fruit and fine tannins

Vinification

Grapes are harvested separately and fermented in concrete vats with indigenous yeasts, then aged in French oak to enhance elegance and complexity.
