PABLO FALLABRINO Ripasso de Tannat 2019
Bodega Pablo Fallabrino's Ripasso De Tannat is a unique wine from Uruguay's Canelones region. Made with 100% Tannat grapes, it offers raisin, truffle, and rhubarb marmalade aromas. The vineyard's sustainable farming practices and coastal location are key elements to the winemaking.

Tasting notes
Clever use of the ripasso technique to smoothen Tannat's sometimes challenging tannins while leveraging its depth of fruit and savoury edge. Broody and seductive with juicy raisins and prune at the core, covered in dark chocolate and tobacco leaves. Olive brine, petrichor and truffle add nuance and dynamism. Lovely cleanliness and assertiveness to the finish. (Decanter, Ines Salpico)
Vinification
Grapes are dried on the vine for about 15 days. The raisins are then harvested, and the resulting pressed juice is co-fermented with a selected finished Tannat wine, at a proportion of 50/50.
