PIZZATO Nervi Reserva Tannat 2020

Located in Bento Gonçalves, the wine capital of Brazil, which sits at an altitude of just over 610 metres. Vale dos Vinhedos covers 82 square kilometres in part of the Pedrinho River basin. As per DO rules, red wines must be aged for 12 months prior to release. Sustainable practices, including preserving the local ecosystem and responsibly using natural resources.

Tasting notes

Intense nose of spicy black and blue berries, with savoury notes. The palate is big but well balanced; with fine tannins that support a persistent core of spicy black fruit, overlaid with meat and leather notes, plus some minty freshness on the finish.

Vinification

From 25-year-old vines, this Tannat is aged for 11 months in French oak barrels.
