What’s a Pét-Nat?
Think of Pét-Nat as the chill, spontaneous cousin of Champagne. Short for Pétillant Naturel (“naturally sparkling”), it’s made by bottling the wine while it’s still fermenting—so the bubbles form all on their own. The result? A gentle, natural fizz sometimes with a touch of cloudiness (due to being unfiltered) that makes each bottle unique. From Pablo Fallabrino, Uruguay:

1. Soul Surfer Pet Nat 2023 - a sparkling version of his popular Estival white wine, this is fragant, textured and sappy with froth personality, layers of rose petal, pear, and citrus. 
2. Soul Surfer Nebbiolo Pet Nat 2023 - Pablo’s grandfather used to make this red sparkling wine, and a couple of years ago he decided to start making it too. This is fun, grippy, with flavours of black cherries, blackberries and cranberries. A deeply red sparkling wine!

From L’Entremetteuse, Chile:

1. La Cuica Pet Nat 2023 - 50% Pinot Noir, 50% Chardonnay - The fresh and lively palate is packed with orchard fruit, quince, tangy sea buckthorn and Persian lime notes, plus tart red berries and red apple that linger on the finish.
2. Las Socias Pet Nat 2023 - A gorgeous Marsanne–Roussanne blend bursting with ripe apricot, peach, and a touch of blossom. You’ll find hints of honey, quince, and warm spice too. Rich and textured yet beautifully fresh.
3. L’Epine de La Rose Torontel 2021 - Made from 100% Torontel grapes, from a 100-year-old, dry-farmed vineyard. Aromas of lychee and roses; flavours of dried mango, quince and dried apricots
4. Syrah Rose 2020 - With a little bit of residual sugar, it’s remarkably complex for a pet-nat and disarmingly drinkable. Red mulberries, red cherries and membrillo, a little bit of bresaola, the bitter bite of hawthorn berries, dollop of raspberry jam.
